Incoherant

Sat Aug 8, 2009, 7:21 PM
Okay well it's been about three weeks since I've made this account, and I really haven't been on. I've been much too busy being miserably bored to the point of no return, I guess. My poetry has been coming along somewhat. Inspiration comes a'knockin' from time to time. As many people to seem to realize, "happy" poetry is quite a rare thing for me. I'll honestly say that no, I'm not a happy person, never have been, but I'm not a downer...not always. I try to look at the good things in life when I can, though I loose sight of them now and then, and have to use the outlet of poetry to express my emotions. I always say "the bad times make the good times worth living" but what about the times when you feel like there aren't enough good times to give reason for enduring the bad times? Eventually, I move on from these negative thoughts, but well...it's not always so easy.

Moving on, um, I haven't really been doing anything. This summer has been quite uneventful and painfully long. I'm actually excited for the start of the school year. At least I won't have as much time alone with my thoughts. I don't like being alone with my thoughts...for too long. School should be of some benefit if not any.

Since I've been bored I decided to read Stephanie Meyers sequel to Twilight, New Moon. I am now 421 pages into the book (I started reading yesterday) and I am bored out of my mind. Honestly, how was this thing published? It is so completely cliche and stupid. The main character Bella irritates me beyond belief, and the whole story line is unoriginal. Stephanie Meyer's literary disgrace, otherwise know as the Twilight Saga has already managed to kill the brains of countless idiotic teens, (*cough Edward fan girls cough*) and pave the way for future literary garbage. If you still haven't been exposed to these books or are Anti-Twilight/Stephanie Meyer, like I am, please spare yourselves of the tourture, or avoid girls ranging in ages 13-18 wearing Twilight fan gear.

Oh, before I end this long rant on nothing, I AM going to continue practicing my art, but will not be posting any (yet). Thanks to my best friend...cousin at heart...fluffy wild thing, I will be still making pathetic attempts at drawing humans. The bodies Im okay at but I can't draw a face at all. Practice makes perfect, or somewhat better in my case. Well, until I have anything important to bore you with again, I'll be ending this here.
